4corners: Fail Edition
Remember how I was going to do some blogging last week? You know, something for ChurchLife (a still-unlaunched 1square feature) and another installment of the ever-so-random 4corners?
Funny story: My computer’s battery died, and I left the charger at work. Then I forgot to take my computer to work to recharge it, and proceeded to leave the charger there. Again.
Fail.
I had even written out Friday’s 4corners on paper (you remember paper, right?).
Anyway, here’s another 4corners, which is remarkably similar to the original draft.
- Speaking of paper, did you see Thursday’s episode of the Office? I mean, what? I won’t spoil it here, but I need to know what you think is going to happen next. Watch the episode, then leave some comments. (The Comments section is officially cleared for spoilers, so click at your own risk.)
- I had the privilege of speaking at Indian River Middle School last Friday. I was a guest speaker for their AVID program, which stands for Achievement Through Individual Determination. I spoke about reaching goals while encouraging friendship and peacefulness (as opposed to every-person-for-himself). Sang a song. Answered a lot of questions about Chuck Norris.
- Easter Egg fund-raiser is getting crazy. Can’t wait to get past Palm Sunday, which happens to be our Easter Egg delivery date. Pastor has dubbed it “Fat Sunday.”
- Birthday dinner tonight. Meat loaf. Homemade mac and cheese. Cake. Amen.
This is going to get better. Until then…
