4corners: Choose Your Own Adventure Edition
This feels like a special day. I am about to put my life in your (hopefully capable) hands. If it wasn’t special before, it is now.
Here’s the deal, I’m about to let you decide what my first-ever attempt at book writing will be. Four choices, one vote, one outcome. This is not a joke—whatever wins, I’ll work on. As soon as an introduction or opening chapter or whatever is finished, I’ll post it on this very page for your perusal/criticism/entertainment. And now, the choices:
(Note: Working titles are subject to change. Duh.)
- The Warm Fuzzies: A Nostalgia-Driven Life (Non-fiction, Humor)
- Church Words: How to swear like a Christian (Non-fiction, Reference/Humor)
- The Gospel of TOMS (Non-fiction, Inspirational)
- Power Rangers (Fiction, probably unintentional humor)
That last one probably raised a few eyebrows, so let me clarify. If attempted, Power Rangers would be a reboot of one of my favorite childhood franchises (think more hip/dramatic/epic and less kiddy/cartoony/vapid). Yeah, I’m putting myself out there like that.
So, choose wisely. And yes, you do have to choose. Nobody voted on the Mae widget earlier in the week (and we’re all still paying for that). Show me that you care. Choose my next adventure.
(Remember: The comments here do not require any sort of account or registration. Just leave some words. It’s harmless.)
Happy weekend.
Tyler
